Each of these ducts is connected to a terminal unit (which is very similar to a normal radiator) inside your home. The terminal unit has a fan that when turned on, sends the warmed air down the ducts. The air is then distributed evenly around your home.

In addition to the terminal unit, there is a central thermostatic control. This is a small dial or control panel that you can program according to the temperature you would like it to be.
